Test Automation University (TAU) is a free, online educational platform developed by Applitools to help software professionals learn and advance their skills in test automation. TAU offers a comprehensive curriculum designed for various skill levels and backgrounds.

Role: Art Director & Lead Designer

The project:

Applitools approached me to design and build a brand for the launch of TAU. The marketing director wanted a fun, playful, and colorful identity. Since TAU is an educational platform, we incorporated gamified elements—ranks, badges, and points—to make learning enjoyable and motivating.

I created custom illustrations and characters, including TAU Bots and Ranks, to add personality and enhance the engaging learning experience.

TAU Badges

Users will earn a badge for a every course completed and select number of credits.

TAU Ranks

After accumulating a set number of credits, a user earns a rank, starting with Unicorn and progressing up to Griffin.
